QUICK START

Welcome to VBMP Select. This system is designed to help you easily generate orders for new geospatial data acquisitions.

To Begin, simply login, then specify an Area of Interest (AOI) by choosing a pre-defined area, drawing an AOI, or uploading a .shp or .kml file. After Your AOI is selected, choose a product from the product list and add it to your order to see number of tiles (or sq miles), price per tile (or sq. mile), any applicable discount or subsidy, and the total price. Once you have selected all the products you need, click SUBMIT to generate a Draft Order PDF Document that will be emailed to you and the program administrator. The email will include both the order document and kml of the AOI's you drew or uploaded for easy reference. After order submittal, a program administrator will contact you to review and officially accept the request, or call Sanborn at (703) 819-6012.

SYSTEM INFORMATION

-What is VBMP Select
This system is designed to help you easily generate orders for new geospatial data acquisitions. Created by Sanborn
for VGIN, This system will allow you to effectively plan and budget for new data acquisitions.

-Map, Tools and Layers Information
The basemap is a standard google maps (flash api) application, and you can choose from imagery, street maps and
physical maps of the area. the zoom tools are on the left and jump-to geocoder or defined area boxes on top the map
will help you quickly navigate to different areas.

-Product Information
Sanborn offers a number of number of different product to VGIN under the VBMP contract. Imagery (at different
resolutions ranging from 3” to 2ft) LiDAR, Planimetrics and more.

-Order Document Information
The system will automatically generate a properly formatted PDF Order Request Document that lists the products to
be ordered and their characteristics, the tile layout ordered and more.

NOTE: Orders and Pricing are for Planning and Reference Purposes only. All orders, pricing and product availability
must be confirmed by both Sanborn and VGIN to become binding.
